Pioneering Research on Youth Civic Leadership Development

While conservatives spend over $30 million annually to develop their leaders, we are coming together to build more confident, effective, and diverse youth leaders to lead the movements we all care about.

Our new research underscores the essential role of fostering youth civic leadership as we build equitable movements for social change. We uncovered notable gaps including:

  • A lack of strategies and tactics to strengthen young people’s practice of leadership across organizations

  • A lack of resources for youth leadership development

  • A lack of quantitative research methods (assessments, indices, etc) on the long term effects of investing in youth leadership

This report serves as a call to action to recognize these gaps, invest in youth leadership, and collectively shape a brighter future.
